Theresa M. Souza, 71, of Fall River, wife of Antone Souza,Jr., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 14, after a long illness. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Cecilia (Carvalho) Arriail. She was a clerk for the Salvation Army for many years and also worked as a crossing guard. Theresa loved knitting, crocheting, camping, and traveling. But her greatest passion was her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband of fifty-one years, she leaves: her children, Antone Souza, III, of Dartmouth, Brian Souza and his wife Lynn of East Taunton, Wayne Souza and his wife Pamela of South Dartmouth, and Corinne Dione and her husband George of East Sandwich; eight grandchildren, Antone Souza, IV, Brian Souza, Jr., Aaron Souza, Benjamin Souza, Mychelle Souza, Christene Souza, Sarah DeCosta, and Brandon Dione; one great-grandchild, Mikayla Souza; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service was on Thursday, April 19th, during calling hours at our Fall River Chapel. Her private cremation followed.
