Thomas B. Marshall, 61, of Swansea, husband of Brenda (Dias) Marshall, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 after an illness. Born in Fall River, a son of Barbara (Arruda) Marshall of Somerset and the late John Marshall, he resided in Swansea for the past 34 years.
Employed with the Taunton Catholic Cemeteries for over twenty years, he had also worked at the former Eastern Transmission for many years. A member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Fall River Lodge 318, he was a member of the St. John's Athletic Club and was an avid New England Patriot's fan. Thomas especially enjoyed getting together with family and friends.
Besides his wife, with whom he shared 41 years together, and his mother, he is survived by: three children, Nathaniel Lamonde (wife Tiffany) of Cummings, Georgia, Mary Marshall of Swansea, and Margaret Marshall of Swansea; five siblings, John Marshall of Dighton, Donna M. Deston of Fall River, Joan St. Pierre of Attleboro, Patricia A. Clement of Clover, South Carolina, and Catherine A. Marshall of Bristol, Rhode Island; two grandsons, Zane Lamonde and Zackery Schiedler; and many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 8th, in St. Thomas More Church followed by his private committal at Nathan Slade Cemetery both in Somerset
