Thomas A. Solomito, of Somerset, passed away on Friday, February 24. He was the husband of Marie (Mauricio) Solomito. Mr. Solomito was born in Lynn, and was the son of the late Thomas and the late Ruth (McNair) Solomito. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He had served in the Vietnam War, and was awarded the Bronze Star. Mr. Solomito had been an employed by the Dominion Power Plant in Providence, and Narragansett Cash Register. He then had become the proprietor of New England Electronics. He was well known for his repairs skills with the electronic industry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Vincent Pavao and Greg Pavao, Jennifer Messier and her husband Peter, all of Somerset, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Ryan T. Solomito. His visitation period was held in our Somerset Chapel on Thursday,  March 2nd. His committal service with military honors was private.
