Tonuia Carol Richard, 51, of Fall River, passed away on Friday. Wife of Raymond E. Richard, Sr., with whom she shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Ogden, Utah, daughter of the late Garrett and Carolyn (Ditterline) Smith. Tonuia was Mormon, belonging to the Church of Latter Day Saints and greatly enjoyed playing Yahtzee, solving word search puzzles, listening to country music and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was the loving mother of sons, Edward Atfield, Jr. of Marlboro and Raymond Richard, Jr. of Fall River; daughters, Salena Atfield, Shasta Richard, LaKesha Richard and Karolyn Richard, all of Fall River; grandmother of Alana, Aisha Bree, Rotimi, Samarii-Roz, Jazhiai, Aishalena and Jayshawn. Calling hours were held on Friday, October 17, in our Fall River Chapel followed by her cremation.
