Antonio "Tony" Abelha, 48, of Fall River, passed away on June 16, 2020. Tony was born in Fall River, and was a son of Maria (Travassos) Abelha and the late Alfred Abelha.  He was a laborer in the construction industry for many years.  He was a parishioner of St. Michaels Church.

He is survived by: his daughter Brittany (Amaral) Victoria and her husband Cody of Fall River; a granddaughter Amelia;7 siblings, Alfredo Abelha of Warwick, Mary Almeida of California,  Manuel Abelha of Fall River,  Jose Abelha of Westport, Cecilia Smigel of Swansea,  Paul Abelha of England and Paula Cabral of Fall River,  and many nieces and nephews.

His cremation was private. A Memorial Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, June 29th, in St. Michael Church followed by a committal and burial of His Cremains at St. Patrick Cemetery.
