Vasco Ribeiro, Jr., 84, formerly of the Tecumseh Mill Apartments, passed away Monday at Crawford Nursing Home. Born in Newport, son of the late Vasco and Mary Ribeiro, he volunteered at the Salvation Army for many years. Beloved father of Cynthia Costa, Anna Perkins and the late Rose Ribeiro; grandfather of Laurie Bradley, Donald Costa, II, Lisa Hawthorne, Angela Abdallah and Stacey Perkins; great grandfather of Kyle Bradley, Isabela Costa and Cameron Hawthorne. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and many friends. His Funeral Service was held on Friday, August 21st, in our Fall River Chapel followed by his committal at Oak Grove Cemetery.
