Vicente P. Correia, 53, of Fall River, husband of Francelina (Garcia) Correia, died Tuesday 10/26/10 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Sao Vicente Ferreira, St. Michael, Azores, son of the late Manuel & Idalina (Pereira) Correia, he emigrated to Fall River in 1988, and worked for many years as a landscaper. His hobbies included coin-collecting and model-building (miniature-sized, traditional Portuguese-style, horse-drawn carriages). Besides his wife, he leaves: 3 children, Paula R. Andrade (husband Joao), Rui & Stephanie Correia, all of Fall River; 3 siblings, Maria Ines Costa Rego, Maria Jose Correia Alves & Jose Manuel Pereira Correia all of St. Michael, Azores; a grandson, Liam John Andrade; several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Herculano Pereira da Costa. His funeral Mass was celebrated in Espirito Santo Church. He was laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemtery.
