Vincent P. Miranda, 84, of Attleboro, husband of the late Natalie B. (Botelho) Miranda, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence, RI. Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, a son of the late Joao Pacheco Miranda and the late Escolastica (Faria) Miranda, he emigrated to Fall River in 1960.
Employed as a laborer in the local construction industry for forty years, Vincent worked for D'Ambra Construction and Cardi Construction and was a member of Laborer's Union Locals 271 and 610. He was once an active member of the former Our Lady of Health Holy Ghost Society. Vincent enjoyed fishing and gardening, but mostly he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by: four children, Vincent E. Miranda (Dee) of Spring Hill, Florida, Barbara Gendreau (Eric Bennett) of Attleboro, Cynthia M. Perron (Daniel, Sr.) of Swansea, and Kenneth Miranda (Stacie Forcier) of Fall River; three siblings, Maria Natalia Oliveira, Maria Conceicao Tavares, and Inacio Miranda all of Fall River; nine grandchildren, Melissa Raposa (James), Vincent E. Miranda, Jr. (Karen), Amanda Miranda (Bryant), Kourtney Smus (Zachary), Korey Gendreau (Julie), Stephanie L. McDonald (Cody), Daniel J. Perron, Jr. (Sierra), Brenden Miranda, and Brady Miranda; ten great grandchildren, James, Andrew, Natalie, Jackson, Ryan, Isabella, David, Aria, Nolan, and Brooke; his dogs, Bear and Buddy; and several nieces and nephews. Vincent was predeceased by four siblings, Silvestre F. Miranda, Almorina Marques, John Miranda, and Antonio Miranda.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, January 24th, at Espirito Santo Church followed by his committal at St. Patrick Cemetery both in Fall River.
