Wayne P. Luiz, 58 of Fall River and formerly of Ocean Grove in Swansea, passed away on September 3rd, after an extended illness. Born in Fall River, son of Zulmiro "Jimmy" and Sophie "Ruth" (Habib) Luiz of Fall River. He served with the US Army National Guard, was a member of the VFW Post #486 and was most recently employed at Fiore Toyota. He dedicated many years to working for the Luiz and Sons Chourico Shop, founded by his family. Besides his parents, Wayne is survived by daughters, Tammy and Stephanie Luiz of Fall River; a brother, James Luiz of Fall River; a sister, Cindy Oliveira of Swansea, grandchildren; Jonathan and Taylor, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, an uncle, a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law. Cremation was private. A memorial service honoring Wayne's memory was held on Saturday (10/10) at the funeral home.
