Wilhermina "Winnie" Souza, 78, of Fall River, passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Gertrude (Carreiro) Souza, and sister of the late Harry Souza, she had also lived in Little Compton in her younger years. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Eileen Souza.

She worked in the local textile industry for many years, retiring in 2015, and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union ("ILGWU") now called UNITE. She had also worked as a homemaker with Southeastern Massachusetts Home Health Aides Association for 20 years.

Winnie enjoyed family gatherings, especially cookouts, and she loved her many nieces, nephews, grand- & great-grandnieces & -nephews. She was also survived by her dear friend, Jackie Souza.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, May 27th, in Holy Name Church followed by her committal at Notre Dame Cemetery.
