William Braz, age 82, passed away February 15, 2010, at the Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Regina (Ouellette) Braz. Born in Fall River; he was the son of the late August Braz and the late Gloria (Souza) Braz. A Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served in the Pacific and was a Military Policeman in the Philippines. Bill, a lifelong resident of Fall River and a graduate of B. M. C. Durfee High School, was a Lithographer, employed for many years at R E Smith & Company until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Regina, family members include his son, Michael W. Braz and his wife Diane of Raynham, MA, his daughter, Rosemary Viveiros and her husband Phil of Tiverton, RI, a sister, Belmira Somers of Westport, MA, five grandchildren, Jennifer Duhancik of Fall River, Joshua Braz, Madison Braz, Zachary Braz, and Natasha Braz, all of Raynham, three great grandchildren, Courtney Duhancik, Tyler Duhancik, and Jonathan Duhancik, all of Fall River, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services with the Silva-Faria Funeral Home were private.
