William J. Ferreira, 48, formerly of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on
Thursday in Florida. A disabled Army veteran, he served with the 101st Airborne Division. Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Doris J. Dias and James W. Dias; sisters, Pamela D. Lindsey, Donna M. Partlow and
Michelle "Shelly" Franco; stepbrother, James W. Dias, II; stepsister, Lori Reis and a daughter, Ashley. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and was the son of the late William Ferreira and brother of the late Jeannette Couto. His funeral service, officiated by Pastor Joseph Biddle, was held at our Fall River chapel on Friday, November 25, followed by his committal with military honors at Notre Dame Cemetery.
