William F. Millerick, 89, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center. Husband of Alice (Silvia) Millerick for almost 62 years. Son of the late Charles and Julia (Cleary) Millerick. A WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked for over 40 years at the former J.J. Corrugated Box Corp. Father of William Millerick, Judith Garcia and her husband Louis, Karen Benevides and her husband Bento, Brenda Brodeur and her husband Mark and Kelly Reis; brother of Louis Millerick and wife Connie, Betty Parker and Gail Charette; grandfather of Todd and Ryan Garcia, Amy Ashlee and Bethany Benevides, Jordan and Melissa Brodeur and Justin Reis; great grandfather of 6; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Thomas Millerick, Louise Borges and Barbara Martin. The family would like to offer sincere gratitude to the staff of West 2 at Clifton for the compassionate care that was provided. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, March 7th, in St. Mary Cathedral followed by his committal with military honors at St. Patrick Cemetery.
