William "Bill" Mosa, 87, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Thursday at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Beatrice (George) Mosa to whom he has been married for 63 years. Born in Fall River and a lifelong resident, son of the late Abraham and Mary (Jureidini) Mosa. Devoted father of Cheryl Jones (husband-Daniel) of Fall River, William "Billy" Mosa of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Linda Little (husband-Jeffrey) of Fall River; loving grandfather of Nicholas and Jared Little and Alexander Jones; brother of Ann "Tiffy" Riling of Milford, CT; and uncle of Anne Mailhot (husband Matt) of Milford, Charlene Riling (partner-Kate O'Boyle) of Moodus, CT, Wendy Riling (partner-Hollyanne Peck) of Aspinwall, PA; and great uncle of Dana and Kayly Mailhot. A proud Navy veteran of WW II, he was a member of the S/Sgt Philip Sabra Post of the Lebanese Veterans and the Lebanon American Men's Society.
Owner of Mosa's Variety in the Flint for more than 25 years, he went on to work part-time at Quality Produce. Bill cherished his family most of all. As much as he loved a good card game or a trip to the casino, he felt his true luck and greatest fortune came from having his treasured wife, children, grandchildren, and his sister and her family. His Funeral Mass was celebrated on February 19, 2013 in St. Anthony of the Desert Church followed by his committal with military honors at the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
