William Roody, age 79, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2012, at the St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, Massachusetts, following an illness. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Paul Roody and the late Rosanna (Desmarais) Roody. A lifelong Fall River resident, he was employed for many years as a kitchen worker at various restaurants in this city. William leaves several nieces and nephews. Services with the Silva Faria Funeral Home were private. His cremated remains were laid to rest with his brother John Roody at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Fall River.
