Zenon Michael Buss, better known as Mike, 60, of Fall River, died Wednesday 1/1/14 at home. He was the loving companion of Evelyn Cochran, of Fall River. Born in Fall River, son of Myra (Semenec) Buss of Fall River, and the late Kenneth M. Buss, he resided in Fall River most of his life – having also lived in Illinois and Kansas. Employed as a painter, he worked for various companies in the construction industry; and he also worked for the railroad for a time. He enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to the blues, and attending Native American Pow-Wows. He was also proud to have recently earned a special medallion from AA commemorating 22 years of sobriety. Besides Evelyn, and his mother, he is survived by: 2 children, Tanya Paskadi of Illinois & Zenon "Mikey" Buss, Jr. of Fall River; 6 siblings, Cathy Martin of Illinois, Myra Ingargiola of E. Taunton, Ken Buss Jr. of Wisconsin, Ginny Labossieri of Rhode Island, Laura Costa of Fall River, & Rick Buss of Illinois; 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Jasmine; 1 great grandson, Bentley; several nieces & nephews. Calling Hours took place on Tuesday, January 7, in Fall River Chapel. His cremation followed.
