Zulmira Medeiros, 80, of Fall River, wife of the late Jose G. Medeiros, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 following a long illness. Born in Faja de Cima, Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Brilhante and the late Maria (Couto) Brilhante.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a sewing machine operator in the local textile industry for many years. She loved sewing, shopping, cookouts, and crab dinners.  She also enjoyed her "dine out" trips to Burger King and McDonald's. Most important to Zulmira was family and spending quality time with all of them.

She leaves her loving nephews, Jerald P. Brilhante and his wife, Tricia, and Jeffrey P. Brilhante, both of Fall River and her grandnephews and grandnieces, Jeffrey P. Brilhante, Jr., Sophia A. Brilhante, Savannah V. Brilhante, and Hunter A. Brilhante. She was also the sister of the late Manuel Brilhante.

Her funeral arrangements were private.
